A.L. Phillips is a native of Pasadena, California. She has been telling stories to anyone who would listen since she was in grade school, and began writing her first novel at age 17.
Phillips earned a B.A. in Sociology from Grove City College, where she wrote a short version of The Quest of the Unaligned as an independent study. In 2013, Phillips earned a master’s degree in Survey Research and Methodology at the University of Nebraska – Lincoln, where she is now a Ph.D. student in Marketing. In her free time, however, she is working on two new novels, one of which will be a prequel to The Quest of the Unaligned.
